How Can I Download the App to My Mobile Device?
App Rides is Available On Google And Apple App Stores - Simply Scan the Link or the QR Code On the APP-RIDES vehicle and it will open in your App Store. Then follow the prompts to register.
Do I Have to Register Every Time I Use App-Rides?
No, Registration is a one-time event that takes about 2 minutes. Once you register you can simply scan and rent any App-Rides vehicle in any city you visit in just seconds.
Can I Have the App-Ride App on Multiple Mobile Devices?
Yes, once you register with your email address you can use that email address and your password to open the app on any device you choose.
Can I Share My Account and Password With Friends and Family?
It is advised that everyone register their own account. However, if you are sharing your account so your kids can rent E-Bikes with your permission that’s ok.
How Old Do I Have to Be to Rent a Vehicle?
You must be 21 years of age to rent a Street Legal Cart and 18 years old to rent one of our fabulous E-Bikes.
How Long Can I Rent an App-Ride Vehicle for?
The beauty of App-Rides Is its flexibility to your needs. Rentals are available from our 1-hour minimum up to our one-month maximum. You can choose your option from our IN-APP menu and extend at any time if you’d like to ride longer.
What Safety Features Are Installed on My App-Rides Cart?
App- Rides Carts are considered LSV (Low-Speed Vehicles) and are equipped with all safety features mandated by the Federal Government on the date of its manufacture. These features include seat belts, headlamps, taillights, brake lights and turn signals. In addition, each cart is equipped with the mandated Reflective Low-Speed Vehicle Triangle at the rear of the cart. LSV safety feature standards are lower than on regular cars as the vehicle's speed is limited to 25 mph. Our LSV Vehicles are NOT equipped with airbags or other features found on standard passenger automobiles.
What Roads Can I Drive My App-Rides Cart on?
By Law, LSV Carts are permitted on Any Roadway with A Speed Limit of 35 mph or less. They are however permitted to cross higher-speed roads at intersections with a traffic control device.
How Fast Will My APP-Rides Cart Go?
By law, your App-Rides Cart will not exceed 25mph
What is the Travel Range on My Gas Powered App-Rides Cart?
Your Gas-powered App Rides Cart will Have a full tank range of Approximately 120 miles before needing to refuel.
What is the Range on My Electric Powered App-Rides Cart?
The Range On App-Rides Electric Vehicle Cart Fleet is Approximately 45 miles before needing to be recharged.
Is My App-Rides Cart Insured for Liability and Theft?
When renting a Cart you will be asked to enter your automobile Insurance policy information. Your existing auto insurance will be the Primary Insurance to cover your App-Rides vehicle while you’re using it. App-Rides Carts are considered LSVs (Low-Speed Vehicles) and are registered motor vehicles. As such most insurance companies will cover your rental as it does any other rental car. Check with your insurance company if you are not sure if you have rental car coverage on your policy.
Where Can I Return My App-Rides Cart?
In most cases, you are required to return your App-Ride to the location you rented it. However, in some towns, we have multiple locations for pick-ups and drop-offs. Once you complete your rental, App Rides will advise you of any options through the App
What Do I Do if I Have a Malfunction or Mechanical Issue With My Ride?
Your ride will be marked with a local phone number to call should you have an issue. Our team will arrange a prompt replacement for your ride. Of course, you will not be charged for any downtime. Should you have an issue after hours simply park the vehicle in a legal parking space and PAUSE YOUR RIDE to lock the vehicle. Our team will get you a replacement first thing in the morning.
How Many People Can I Fit on My App-Rides Cart?
App-Rides offers both 4 and 6-passenger carts for your enjoyment, simply scan the cart you want and go have some fun.
Can I Attach a Child Seat to My App-Rides Cart?
Yes if you have your own child seat you may install it on your rental cart. APP-Rides does not have carts equipped with Child Seats, please phone the local office if you are planning a trip and we can arrange a child seat for you
What Are Your Operating Hours?
App-Ride vehicles are ALWAYS open 🙂 Scan the QR CODE on the vehicle any time of day or night to unlock and rent it.
Do I Need to Return My App-Ride With a Full Charge or Full Tank of Gas?
App-Rides offers both Lithium Powered Electric Carts And Gas Powered Carts.
If You choose an Electric Cart we ask that you plug it back in after your ride so its ready for our next rider. Gas Carts do not need to be returned full, our staff will refill it when you’re done with your rental. You will receive your rental with a full tank, if you choose a longer-term rental and need more fuel during your rental you will be required to refill the tank as needed. Our Gas Carts run on Regular 87 Octane Fuel available at all gas stations.
Where Am I Allowed to Park My App-Rides Cart?
App-Rides Carts May be parked in Any Legal parking space, just as any other car. Please check for signs to be sure parking is permitted.
What if I Get a Parking Ticket?
In the event you receive a parking ticket, please pay it immediately. Payment of parking tickets is the Renters responsibility. If you don’t agree with the ticket you may appeal it through the agency website which will be on the ticket. Just don’t ignore it as the late fees become very expensive. App-Rides will receive late notices from the parking enforcement departments and then charge the cost of the ticket to your account along with a $100 Administration Fee.
What if I Have an Accident?
In the event you have an accident notify police Immediately to get an accident report and notify the customer service phone number on your vehicle so we can dispatch assistance
Can I Rent an App-Rides Cart and Transport It to Another City?
No, App-Rides Carts are designed to be used within a designated service area of the town where it is rented. Taking the vehicle outside the service area will trigger a GPS violation alert and you will be notified to bring the cart back into the service area. For longer-term, out-of-area rentals please phone our customer service number and we can arrange this type of specialty rental for you.

How Do the App-Rides E-Bikes Work?
App-Rides E-Bikes Are cutting-edge, high-tech bikes designed for comfort and safety. Once you unlock the bike of your choice through the app simply mount it and begin pedaling, you will feel the electric power assist kick in for an effortless ride. App-Rides E-Bikes have a cruising speed of about 14mph and a range of approximately 20 miles before requiring a Recharge.
How Do I Adjust the Seat on My App-Rides E-Bike?
All App-Rides E-Bikes have a tool-free adjustable seat clamp. Simply release the clamp, raise or lower the seat to your preferences, and close the clamp.
Do I Need to Wear a Helmet When Riding an App-Rides E-Bike?
Helmets are not legally mandatory for Riders over 16 Years Of Age however we highly recommend wearing one. Each Bike Is available with a Helmet at no Charge. Simply ask the customer service staff to fit you with a helmet- It's free!
Does My App-Ride E-Bike Come With a Light?
Yes, All App-Rides E-Bikes Are Equipped With A Headlight And Taillight
Does My App-Rides E-Bike Come With a Basket to Hold My Belongings?
Yes, Your App-Ride E-Bike has a non-removable Basket large enough to hold a Ladies' Handbag, bottled drinks and other items you might purchase on your exploration Of A destination.
What Happens if I Get a Flat Tire on My App-Rides E-Bike?
Great News! All App-Rides E-Bikes have puncture-proof tires - there's no chance of ever getting a flat.
How Do I Lock My App-Rides E-Bike So It Doesn’t Get Stolen?
When you park your App-Rides E-Bike tap The Pause Ride Button On Your App. This will lock the rear wheel and make the bike impossible to roll. In Addition, there is a built-in cable lock you can put around a bike rack to further secure it.
What Happens If My App-Rides E-Bike Runs Out of Battery Power During My Rental? Your App-Rides E-Bike has a digital power display gauge that will indicate how much power you have. You can estimate how much battery power you need to return by how much you’ve used and the distance back to your return point as you would with your car's fuel tank Indicator. You are welcome to return for a battery swap if you need a fresh charge. Your App-Ride Bike can be pedaled without battery power if you run it out.
Can I Rent an App-Rides E-Bike and Let My Child Ride It?
Yes. App-Rides E-Bikes are 26” wheeled bikes and have a rider height range of approximately 5’- 6’3”. If you believe your child will be able to ride it safely they are welcome to ride. You will need to add them to your rental agreement within the app when you rent the E-Bike.
